You Are "All You Need is Love"

You are compassionate, kind, and giving. You truly believe that love can heal the world.

In some ways, you are a bit of hippie. You think that peace is still very undervalued in this world.

You feel like people make life too complex. Happiness is often as simple as just allowing yourself to be happy.

There isn't much people really need in this life. If you're truly loved, then you're lucky.

I locked the doors and took a nap....when my mother tried to get in she couldn't. Well long story short.....after banging on doors...windows....calling the house....etc......super mom broke door down and I sleepily stroll out of bed room.....without a clue about all the drama....LOL

Oh, and by the way she only went next door to the neighbors....T

Happy Holidays to all

We are now in the final stretch for
2007 holidays…so take a deep breath and try to enjoy this magical time of the
year.

I know we all tend to stress about
family, friends, health, money, work, economy, politics and some of us are even
stressing over whether our favorite addictive TV show will continue on…..

My hope for all of us is that we take
a moment to try to do something special for yourself and remember what the
season means to you. Create your own new tradition so that you are able to find
some of the magic of the season. Tomorrow is another year and all of the things
we worry about will be waiting for us so why not take today or the remainder of
this year to let go, relax and enjoy the moment.

What a wonderful way to begin 2008 and
then maybe all your worries will not seem so insurmountable….

Love and peace Tamara

Hello,

This is my first post. I may have done this backwards by posting my Bio first but this is all a learning experience for me. So, due to my learning curve I will be posting part of my bio to the journal (where I believe I was supposed to in the first place).

So enjoy or not...it's a still a free country...at least the last time I looked. You are entitled to your opinion but please don't  post any criticism about my journal etc here. Applause is welcomed.

I love to travel and my favorite vacation is StratfordOntario. We make it a point of visiting at least once a year. Because I live in the metro Detroit area I’m only 15 minutes from Canada. Stratford is 5 hours from where I live. Love it...love it...love it.

Of course you can not forget Chicago…with all of their museums, navy pier, blues music and ultimate shop till you drop locations!

Music, art, books & ligature, friends, family is a big part of my life. My current addition/obsession is Blood Ties. I found Tanya Huff from the Blood Ties series.

Have always loved books; SF, vampire, things that go bump in the night books, gothic romance, historical romance, etc. Absolutely adore any book that will make me laugh out loud. Some authors who have accomplished that with flying colors are Jane Austen, Tanya Huff, Elizabeth Peters/Barbara Michaels (same author with two different names and different gender) and Georgette Heyer.

Love all animals. I have rescued multiple cats and dogs. I have fostered dogs to a good home and adopted two abused dogs. One who is so traumatized that she just now is starting to bark and I've had her for four years.

Love and miss my boy- Alex. I had him for 15 years and it still hurts. See picture....
